Founded in Los Angeles in 2022, Patagonia Tango Company features resident company dancers and a rotating cast of seasonal guest artists from Argentina.
The company performs the original choreography of Artistic Directors Oscar Mansilla and Romina Rodriguez as well as repertory by guest choreographers.
PTC has performed for sold out venues throughout the US and Argentina.


Ache Rey
Marcelo Ache Rey is one of the most outstanding tango vocalists of his generation and the principal singer of Patagonia Tango Company.
With an international career spanning renowned theaters, festivals, and concert halls across the Americas and Europe, including performances at the prestigious Monte Carlo Opera in Monaco, Marcelo has become a leading ambassador of Argentine tango worldwide.
Known for his powerful voice, charismatic stage presence, and innovative artistic vision, he has played a significant role in introducing a new generation of audiences to tango throughout the United States. Over the past three years alone, more than 15,000 spectators have experienced his performances through Patagonia Tango Company's acclaimed productions and tours.
In addition to his live performances, Marcelo has recently released new recordings that have earned recognition in Argentina and whose music is frequently featured at tango festivals, milongas, and dance events across the United States. His unique ability to blend the passion of traditional tango with a fresh contemporary interpretation has established him as one of the genre's most compelling voices today.
Patagonia Tango Company is honored to feature Marcelo Ache Rey as its principal vocalist and one of the most influential artists contributing to the growth and evolution of tango in North America.

The Directors
Romina Rodriguez and Oscar Mansilla have toured the world with their unique and elegant approach to traditional Argentine Tango and Folklore.
From 2016-2019, they were resident dancers at the historic Plaza Dorrego de San Telmo in Buenos Aires where they danced with Pedro "El Indio" Benavente as well as for Café del Arbol. While in Los Angeles, Oscar and Romina performed at various milongas, on television for Telemundo/Acceso Total, Netflix's Bake Squad Season 2, and Craig Owen's music video "Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on the Creek. In 2021 they were invited to form part of the inaugural resident company of Dubai's first Tango House, La Casa Del Tango. While in Dubai, they had the honor to dance at the tallest building in the world, The Burj Khalifa as well as for members of the royal family of Dubai.
Oscar & Romina are the founders and directors of LA’s premier professional tango company, Patagonia Tango Company. In addition to their projects in Los Angeles, Oscar and Romina organize cultural events in Patagonia in the province of Rio Negro, Argentina.
